so sad what mazda did to the 7.
I think that's a bit of a stretch, the 8 is definitely a little slower than the 7 of course, It was Twin Turbo and wasn't toned down at the last minute to meet Emission regulations..
Toss some FI on the 8 and it's just fine. Atleast mazda gives you the option now of getting to go Supercharged or maybe Nitrous with the 8.
And as far as the 1.3L goes, they're upgrading it to a 1.6 pretty soon.
