First off the in an SRT6 and the traction control off (by the switch) you can get the car sideways, BUT, it should start to cut your engine power significantly as it can sense (through the Yaw sensor) that you are in trouble (or so it believes). Sideways = trouble for the average driver.
If your engine is NOT cutting out or reducing power to let you catch and get traction, then I'd get the Yaw sensor checked ASAP!!!
Now, if you want fun... you can disconnect the Yaw sensor on purpose and turn off the TC and you can doughnut to your heart's content.

I must have a slow to react yaw sensor. My TC has never been very intrusive like Chi-town makes his out to seem. I tried from a stop stomp on the gas with the TC off launch and I fish tailed (not violently like in the previous incidents), but the TC was very brief with its input. It definitely allowed a decent fish tail though. Anyway, I guess its not a bad thing. Just have to be mindful that its not going to save my a$$ if I get too wreckless.
