If you want to put a power adder on a 350 the right way, you'd need to switch to forged internals, lower compression pistons, a different fuel management system, and etc. By then you'd have spent enough money for two SRT6s! So, SRT6 wins that one in my book. Isn't bench racing fun?
apparently, you can't completely read what others post. i said "not stock." i know the srt is quick, but it is limited. what you have is pretty much all you get. plus, it's automatic. and check your info first, an srt runs a 12.9 1/4 mile at best. a new naturally aspirated 350Z with the VQ35HR engine will run a 13.3 average. so you're not really proving anything. i'm pretty sure a vortec on a new Z will eat an SRT-6.
any way, it doesn't matter, a nissan is much more reliable and a much more practical car. good luck getting parts for your srt-6 in 10 years. yeah, sure you probably paid $5k or so less for your rare edition car, but wait till you can't find anymore of the ancient mercedes parts. plus, oil and tires for the crossfires are twice the cost as for the Z. you should know; you had an Infiniti.
