I'm assuming the second pic is where you have the vent tube going in?

Just a thought.....why not take the tubing to a muffler shop and see if they'll just weld it on.......much better than JB weld. Better yet....look in the yellow pages for a welding/fabrication shop in the area.....then offer a guy 20 bucks or so to TIG it on for you.

I only say this because I work as a weld consultant.......my company just did a comprehensive test for the Auto Steel Partnership........to make a long story short......JB Weld failed miserably in all areas, especially in vibration/fatigue!
