I paid $25 or so for three months use of carfax. I checked out 3 or 4 cars in one month and after that it just sat unused until it expired. If you have a paid subscription to something I think you have the right to use it as you wish including FAVORS. Have'nt you ever picked up and browsed a magazine at a friends home? Thier only a few dollars so why noy purchase your own for that quick glimpse? I would guess because you consider it paid for by you friend. A paid subscription is a paid subscription whether hardcopy or online.
If I still had an active subscription I would be glad to help someone out. If they just want one (1) number ran I would think them waistful to spend the $25 without first asking if someone could HELP out.
What I don't understand is how someone can get so offended and indignant about someone asking for a favor.
