Great Story Flyboy,

Glad you he let you go. I have two speeding tickets to take care due to this darn SRT. I plan to fight both and if I can win just one, then I can take the on-line drivers ed class and keep my insurance in check.

With that said, I was out this afternoon on one of my favorite rides just before sunset. I enjoy a spirited run through the canyon and it ends at the college and I remember once spotting the campus police sitting with a radar gun at the back entrance so I drive the legal but the campus is deserted.

Anyway I turn onto a nice newly paved road through some open farmland that I once hit 145MPH on (going the other direction) and I think "I'm up for a speed run" and after making my turn I hit it and jump to 60 (limit is 50) and I see a car coming so I back off and its just a truck. Now I think coast is clear but then I see a car parked on the other side of the road so I stay at 50MPH and as I approach I see it's just a broken down sedan and I think man those tickets have me spooked I could be flyin right now, I no sooner think that and backed into a spot where some construction containers are, is a Highway Patrolman - pointed in the same direction has me just lying in wait. He must have heard me get on it at the turn cuz he gave me the stink eye when I went by at 50MPH.

Got my Christmas present early to - I came that close to goin to jail for 24 hrs on Christmas Eve.
