I purchased the 7/70 Master Care Plan (most extensive warranty) with $0 deductable at the time of original purchase due to the Crossfire being a 1st year vehicle. I asked the dealer if he would sell it for $900. We agreed on $985.
It appears that there is significant mark-up in these plans allowing each dealer significant room to negotiate. Since I also purchased the vehicle under an employee discount program, I don't feel that the profit was buried in the price of the car.
Negotiate! It never hurts to ask.
