Those are "cute" pictures everybody posted. I think I have said this a few times now, we are talking about the aftermarket cold air intakes. I am not sure why anybody posted a picture of a partially torn down motor?? I dont think that helped at all. The picture of the supercharger assembly is cool, but still totally off the subject of this "thread".

I am not an expert on this car by any means. That is why I post and normally finish with IMO. (in my opinion). I have been posting pictures and detailed instructions on what I have been building for the car. I was not totally satisfied with the other CAI's (cold air intake's) on the market, so I made my own. I was not trying to offend anybody on this forums. I simply posted pictures of what I made and have had other forum members wanting to buy the CAI.

Now back on the subject. We are not talking about the cast aluminum "y" under the throttle body. I am familiar with that piece. You should probably look at the 1st post on this thread and look at "my" pictures. They might help you out in this situation. IMO.
