Re: Windrestrictor/ Holiday Special Must See! = )
I finally mounted my Windrestrictor today. It looks nice, is a quality product and does cut down on wind turbulence with the top down. The installation looks like a factory setup.
The Windrestrictor is the illuminated model and is wired with a switch mounted behind the driver's seat. The switch is tied to a hot 12V line so I can turn the Windrestrictor leds on or off as I choose.
However, I have to make up my mind if the leds are too bright and need a dimmer switch to adjust the light intensity or let them ride as they are. I hadn't thought of it prior to trying out the setup this evening, but illuminating the leds with the top up makes for a sight. Of course with the top down, you get the full effect. As I have the red leds, the interior of the car is bathed in a soft red light which I like.
For anybody considering making a purchase, the product is highly recommended by me, for whatever that may be worth.
