If your in drive and moving and put it in neutral you can rev all you want. Not sure how the dyno pulls are being done, but I was surprised that I was able to rev to redline by doing this. When you put it back to drive it does take a second or two to catch back in gear. I wouldn't recommend putting back in drive while your redlining. Not like the old days when the chevy was cold and just revved the motor to keep from shutting off and slammed into gear. Gone, no wonder that 350 turbo needed rebuilding.
