Angry Accident Update

Well, the good news is: the girl that hit me is owning up totally to her mistake, and admitting fault to all parties involved, so her insurance has accepted full liability.

Now the not so good news: New front bumper, new front fender, new door, new rear fender, and new A-pillar at a minimum. The body shop wasn't sure yet if the A-pillar could be bought separate, or if the entire door surround would have to be replaced *GASP!* Now we're REALLY talking major structural damage. If they have to go in and re-weld the entire side of my unibody back on...

I have a feeling this car is never going to be the same again. Creaking, rattling, and shimmying at high speeds are just a few of the symptoms I can imagine.

I talked with my car salesman, and he said if the damage is severe, they would go all the way up to $8000 off the value, so I'm thinking rewelding on the entire door surround is pretty severe. That means the dash and interior has to come out of the car. God, I think I'm going to lose my mind.
