Sorry about that...just Repainting the rear fender, not replacing it. I mis-spoke. The front bumper attachments were apparently torn off as the inner fender well was ripped backwards from the impact.

No estimate on the cost of damages yet because the insurance company now has to dispute all of the repairs, and see if they can get away with not doing any of them.

On the Diminished Value Claim...Is there a right or wrong time to bring that up with the insurance company? My concern is that the repairs plus the diminished value claim will equal the value of the car if totalled, so I would like the insurance company to know that I'm expecting diminished value money before they decide to go forward with repairs or to total the vehicle.
