Pep Boys is the worst. They're techs usually aren't SAE certified and they let anyone who's pumped his own gas at one time or another do tire and oil changes. Once had one of my cars there years ago and they did more damage on a tune up than they rectified. Had to bring it to another place to have it straightened out.
