Might be an irrelevant issue. Allstate is saying they "don't honor" diminished value claims. This is sure to turn into a long drawn out legal battle, where all my winnings are given to the lawers for legal fees. I'll start looking for a car IF I ever actually get any money.
Maybe Patpur will chime in here, he's an insurance guy and he's answered many questions on the forum before the only difference is he'll give you the truth without the run around.
