With the CEL on for this reason - the ecu will pull timing and will need to be reset. My sensor whent bad and I had it replaced under warranty.
I just called the Chrysler service mgr and he said after so many key cycles the CEL will turn off. I dont know if he knows what hes talking about, or if the ECU will truly be back to the way it was so it doesnt pull timing.
