So......how's your snow situation?
Anyways, barring anything obvious (which any dealer would probably fix or cover-up) I wouldn't know just what to look for in an abused car. After all, with only 8000 miles or so the car will still be under warranty so it would be in any dealer's best interest to make sure the car is in decent shape otherwise he'll just end up with it back in his service dept.
I did much of the same thing: I have an '04 Coupe (for sale!) & then, thanks to this forum, started lusting after the SRT. Found one reasonably inexpensive & went for it (after much wife convincing first).
Go for it, Gold, you won't regret the purchase.
