I did finally get it installed today. I have to call them back on Monday as there is a problem with the brake light module. I can get the brake light side of it working fine but have nothing on the running light side. I have power to the module connection so guess something is wrong with it internally. I opted for the blue led's as my roadster is blue, but as I drove it around tonight I wondered how long it would take for the cops to start hassling me about the blue light.

Where did you come up with the led colored dome lights? I think that would look pretty cool.
I bought the dome light leds from - www.autolumination.com

I ordered two 194 T10 wedge base 4 led red lens lights. The two leds were $7.98 + $3.50 shipping. There are threads on this forum where others have used different leds/colors that you can look up for information. Autolumination also sell a six led light that may be better than what I have as it would project more light. I may opt for the six led lamps one of these days.

I'll look into the hassle question as I also live in Texas. The only colors that may be problematic are red or blue. I'll let you know what I find, but I don't believe the seller of the Windrestrictor has had any feedback regarding legality and they are a Texas company. Blue may be fine as long as it isn't a "flashing" light.

I tied my leds into a hot 12v line thru a switch. That way I have control over when the lights are on or off. That works best for me.
