Default Re: New Wheels on SRT6 - Petrol Octane

new Crossfire, I highly recommend going with 225/35/19 for the front tires, you will still have some rubbing but a lot less. The next few paragraphs are my answers to a few other members on the same topic.

Only the fronts rub when reversing and when turning into a ramped driveway, also the fronts are 19s*8, tires are 235/35/19. Front fender lip have no damage or marks. The rears have not rubbed and they are 20s*10, 285/30/20. I have taken off the wheels to look inside the rear wheel area to see if there are any rub marks and there are none. My SRT6 is a daily driver.

My next set of front tires will be 225/35/19 which gives the overall diameter of 25.2" this is close to the factory 225/40/18 overall diameter of 25". Currently the 235/35/19 overall diameter is 25.5" which causes more rub.

I have had the new wheel setup and Eibach springs on since April of 2007, about 8 months & 6000 miles. I have checked every 1000 miles at the inner tire tread to see if there is uneven wear and so far it may be to early but it looks very even in wear.
