Same here, installed to the lights as you did, added a mico swicth behind the passenger seat in between the carpet and plastic trim to turn on and off. You can pull the plastic strip off with the LED's and de-solder a couple of the LEDS as well. If you look in my gallery I have a picture of the LED switch and where is mounted.
