Same here, installed to the lights as you did, added a mico swicth behind the passenger seat in between the carpet and plastic trim to turn on and off. You can pull the plastic strip off with the LED's and de-solder a couple of the LEDS as well. If you look in my gallery I have a picture of the LED switch and where is mounted.

In reading this post Keep in mind that that I am a new owner and that my car is sitting in my garage unregistered. I havent been able to drive it yet, not to mention the snow.
I discovered t the wind restrictor light is really bright while the parking lights are on. However, they dim considerably with the running lights on.
I have a dumb question....With the key out of the ignition does your brake light go on when you depress the brake peddle? Currently it appears i have to have the key on. Is this normal or do I have a possible wiring problem?
