First part makes sense about the car requiring a specific mobil1 oil, but the dealer ship providing it at no charge? I don't know about that.. as it is a very expensvie oil change.. a quart of the mobil1 our cars use costs anywhere from $5-9 and our cars require 8.5 quarts...

I think by law dealership is required to put the correct oil into the engine, but not free of charge...
