I disagree with some of what you said. The human capacity exists to love more than one woman, much the same way as you can love more than one child. Perhaps not in the same way. The real decision to make is which one you love enough, or more to marry or share your everyday life with.
Some people have many friends while others choose just one or two... You can't state that because he indulged in this discretion that he doesnt love either or both of them.
I would add that although you love soemone it doesnt always mean you can live with them.
