You should have gotten a VW style wire harness from Crutchfield. You will need to reverse the red and yellow power wires. You can try red/red & yellow/yellow. Hook it up, Set the clock & program in a couple of radio station's. Turn off the key, Wait a min or two and then turn the key back on and see if your clock and station settings are still there. If they are your good. If there not hook up red/yellow & yellow/red that should handle the power. You will need to hook up the amp "switch" wire from your new radio. It will be blue from the radio. Hook it up to the pink wire on the harness. Hook up the speaker level wires from your radio to the harness and you should be rocking. You do not need to run new wire to your speakers, You can and really must use the factory amp. A lot of so called stereo "installers" have no idea how these cars work. Hope this helps.
