Thumbs up Re: Considering 2005 SRT6

Well, I did it. In spite of wife's objections, I impulsively bought my second Crossfire. I now have a 2005 graphite gray SRT6 to match my Limited Roadster. I really couldn't run it hard during the test drive because it was 15o and snowing lightly in Chicago. I discovered it rides a little harsher than my Limited, the engine is noisier, but it does seem to accelerate a little faster at highway speeds.

Everything checked out on the car but four things. Worst is that someone tried to break in the drivers side by jimmying the door handle. Left a small dent with a crappy touch-up job by the previous owner. Plus the handle gasket is torn and the handle is bent a little. I factored that into my offer. The owner also replaced the OEM radio with a very fancy Panasonic, so I need to find an OEM radio. And it came without an owner's manual and only one key fob.

Netting it out I paid $21k and the dealer will deliver it this week to my home in MI, saving me a 175 mile ride back to pick it up.

Anyone have an extra SRT6 owner's manual or an OEM radio (in working condition) that they want to sell?

PS - Although I'll be denied spousal priviledges for a while, I figure she'll get over it this summer when she drives it. Plus if I passed up this chance, I'd regret not buying it when, five years from now, I can really afford it and won't be able to find one.
