First remove the radio. then remove the center console (two screws to remove first.
Next there are four screw holding in the lower section with the ash try, air bag switch and cig lighter. after removing those screws push ashtry housing to the left and back, then remove to the right . If you remove the ring around the gear shift there are two screws to the front, remove one and you will be able to speard the lower console enough to get the ash try housing out. I haven't reinstalled mine yet but thats how I got it out,
