I think a smarter design would be to mimick the sl, or slk hood design, right where the heat vents are, you can chop out this section of the hood and mount a filter undernieth and then install the sl or slk hood venting grills over, and mount the srt6 y-pipe to connect to the two filters. this way it keeps the oem look, but not tacky looking with a big shaker mustang hood scoop, you have to keep it Euro, otherwise it will look gay on this car.
