My bike is rare and I love it. When you get into the turbo boost around 50 mph, the bike absolutlely screams. From stop light to stop light, it is as docile as can be. In the 07/83 edition of Motorcyclist Magazine, the bike turned the quarter mile in 11.95 @ 112.4 MPH. Not bad for 650 cc and 572 pounds wet. And, in a 200 yard roll-on top gear acceleration from 50 mph it will hit 86.6 mph terminal speed

I actually had a young Honda motorcycle sales guy tell me that Honda never made a factory turbocharged bike. I straightened him out and then let him know that Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha all made factory turbo bikes in the early-mid 80s.

No, I don't know of an XFire group around Houston, But I sure would like to see one formed so I could join. I am a member of the Houston (SE Texas) Cadillac Allante Club and there are far fewer Allantes than XFires.
