Question: Does it make a difference which set of CATS you remove? I mean wouldn't it make more sense to ditch the ones closest to the motor/tranny to reduce heat and keep the ones in rear for emissions compliance/visual inspection? I know they have to heat up to work properly, so it would take longer for the rears to heat up, but would it still work? The rear cats look larger (more flow??) and it might make a later header install easier. Would it throw a code since the O2 sensor is right there by the front cats if they were removed? If so, could you move the O2 sensors closer to the rear cats to eliminate the CEL?
