Check out the posts on page 2 of the "3500 mile performance increase" post below for varying breakin opinions. I believe the manual mentions a 1000 mile breakin period for engine, brakes, etc. Excessive I believe, but I would assign more credibility to the DC engineers that actually designed the various components of the Crossfire than a neighbor - or a technician with 40 hours of training. When you get your car, read the manual and make up your own mind.
