If it has touch up paint on the dent then I can guarantee that it will need to be painted. Depending on the location of the dent and the color of the car you will also have to blend(paint) the adjacent panels(fender, 1/4 panel) as well. On top of that everything on each panel being painted will have to be R/I'd(Remove/Install) to be painted properly...and THEN the cost of repairing the actual dent. The cost could vary anywhere from $450-1400 to fix it the "correct" way.
