One downside to my base coupe is that the engine compartment has no contrast and IMO doesn't look anywhere as good as the non-black Crossfires. On the non-black cars, the engine doesn't blend in with the body colors.
Any ideas for Black Crossfires besides painting them another color?
The entire cover is painted on my daughter's XF. I don't think it looks horrible. The contrast has a "WOW" factor when you open the hood. This weekend I will paint the SRT6 on the engine. It will need to be a high temperature urethane paint.
