Perhaps its just the cd label on the image that needs to be provided as well.
What software did you use? Have a look at my instructions for burning ISO images using either Roxio or Nero that I included in the thread with the download links

Either of these apps will burn useable copies but if you don't do it right then both will just burn the ISO file to the CD, which is apparently what you did.
