It is amazing how essentially the "same" car has problems for one individual and none for another. I guess the point to sort that out is the test drive.
I once bought a new Pontiac Grand Prix that had a squeek in the dash during the test drive. The salesman assured me that would be corrected before I took delivery. Never, ever, did Pontiac get the squeek out although they had a opportunities when the car was in the shop for maintenance or other repairs. My take away from that experience is that when you test drive the car and something is just not right, you better assume it may never be right and either walk away or decide you can live with the annoyance forever. Otherwise buyer's remorse can be a heavy burden.
