You still have the ability to drive mellow and not fast from the start.
It's all up to how much you press the pedal. As far as the warranty I don't believe this is an issue but don't quote me on this. Many members have the sprint booster on there car and as far as I have seen here on the forum nobody has raised any issues regarding warranty work.
