From what I read, it greatly affects acceleration when you "hit" the throttle. Assuming one doesn't want to do that, but accelerate or cruise at a normal pace, this apparently allows that too? Lastly, I posted this query in another thread re: the Max Care warranty, would the installation of such a device jeopardize the Max Care warranty on power & drive train components? I suppose one could just remove it prior to repair work.
