Default Re: Drunk and Stupid!!!

Well, it sounds like you are still trying to minmize your behavior as a another member pointed out, "Now this is getting a little confusing. In post #1, the writer said "I was really drunk and showing off my roadster to my friend." But in post #12, the same writer said "I was the only one in the car" and "there were not any cars or pedestrians around." So where was the "friend" from the first post? We would like to help, but I do think we're entitled to have all of the facts first."

Sounds like you lied by omission to your dad too.
I'm not here to judge you, but at age 16 it appears you already have a problem with alcohol and the poor judgement that results. If this was an isolated incident, i.e you can drink infrequently without getting drunk, lesson learned. On the other hand, if you find yourself drinking and getting drunk, after you swore to yourself you "would never do it again", I would recommend that you Google Alcoholics Anonymous and get thee to a meeting. Alcoholics minimize, lie by ommission, etc. Alcoholism is a physical addiction, a mental obsession and a spirtual problem. You are only 16 years old, so you have the chance now to change the direction alcohol is taking your life. I wish you the very best, one day at a time.
