got any fabrication skills, can you weld? the kleeman tune is $1000 last time I checked.
vortec sc is $1,ooo, misc parts and equipment should have you in the $3000 range as a DIY home brew. do your homework and read some books.
You might want to purchase another ecu for programming, that will set you back another $1200 from the dealer, so your upto $4000 for about 300hp
