Default Re: SRT6 'Kill Stories'

I don't kill on the street, but at the track heads up or bracket racing I've gotten my fair share. It does come down to drivers. I've gotten vipers, vettes, mustangs, you name it. My buddy and I on mbworld with the cls63 have a good time racing each other. He's the fastest on dragtimes with a 12.30. First round he beat me 3 straight, 2nd round I got em all 3 races. I think it was like 5 times, but don't remember. Something was up with his car, because usually it's a very close race. The first meeting is on video in the racing forum here, i think its the 12.9 thread. If you hit the srtconnection and go to racing, you will see a thread on the best race ever. I went heads up with a SRT8 Charger. This guy pulled out the 6.1 hemi and put in a worked 426 motor. He's pushing near 500hp. We ran twice and I posted both slip information over on there site. I lost first to him barely by .015 of a second and the second race I pulled away. We should have went for the tie breaker but the track was closing. So unfortunately it's no secret how fast the SRT6 can go. Still have my stock resonator and all, so only noise they hear is the supercharger. We have much cred on both sites. Now if they were talking about a CLS55 Amg then that's a completely different stories. Those are in the 11's all day long. I tell all the kids at the track, race here not on the street. It's tempting and I'm no hypocrite, I love to do it, but now get my jollies at the track. There were 3 racing accidents in the Phoenix area just last month alone. 2 innocent people died and the drivers are facing manslaughter. Two of the times it was because a car turned in front of the racers and were T-boned. Still guilty of racing. So if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
