you may very well be correct, ty for the input. to be honest i'm not sure weather or not shooting for a 50/50 is the way to go. i was just basing that assumption on the fact that alot of the traditionally favored drift cars have at or near a 50/50, RX7 and AE86 come to mind. as far as the TC is concerned i haven't had any problems with just disengaging it though my friend(amature drifter) seemed to notice some assisted breaking even with it turned off, but it didn't seem to be an issue wile he was drifting it.
