If I remember correctly somebody else had this problem and they ended up returning theirs to the manufacturer who replaced it, and the replacement worked OK. If there is anybody nearby you that has an SB, swap them to see if the problem persists etc.
i had to remove the sprint booster and replace the original configuration to drive the car. i'm guessing that the check engine light came on because i started the engine with the sb in place and no response. car is working fine in the original configuration and the light went off within 24 hours.
