Re: roadster sport bars... on a coupe!
Someone did this a couple years ago and posted photo's, but I can't remember who it was. Maybe Andrew will remember. Anyway, I think they removed the exposed brackets, but once again I can't remember how they did it.
I think it looks pretty cool in the coupe, gives the "illusion" of a "part time" or dual purpose track car. Nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned.
And I really don't see how installing roll bars in a coupe (real or cosmetic) comes off making you look like a roadster wannabe.
When most people see a roll bar in a roadster they think, safety precaution. But when they see a pair of bars in a coupe? They're thinking race car.
