Just finishing mine == used the MB SLK aftermarket bars shown further down this thread, no exposed brackets. Fun to "fish" them into the bulkhead (with the roof on it's different than the roadster !!!).

Biggest pain: figuring where and cutting the holes in the plastic bulkhead cover !!!
