These cars used to be priced at about 50 grand back in 2005. All mechanicals are Mercedes and therefore command Mercedes-type maint. costs. One oil change, unless you do it yourself, costs about 100 bucks. These cars are fast, pretty reliable, and have hand-bult Mercedes AMG engines. The main thing negative about them besides the cost of parts and upkeep, is the fact that the Chrysler dealerships don't support them like they should. You have to find a dealership that has a certified Crossfire technician for one, then you have to keep your fingers crossed that they won't screw up your car while trying to fix it. Mine was in the shop for 2 months and had all of the electronic modules changed for a mis-diagnosed faulty seatbelt alarm switch that costs about 20 dollars. They ruined my interior in the process and never did fix the original problem because they said they were done messing with the car. Do a search on the forum about dealers and maint. costs, you'll be surprised.

Most of us with SRTs keep them original because they are quite rare. There are only about 2016 of them in the entire world. Plus, the car looks amazing in person without mods. I have been looking at lowering it though, but keeping all of the parts just in case.

Cheers
