Have an 05 roadster. No matter how hard it rains the car stays dry. Used to have a terrible leak on my old car and I never bothered with it but have you checked the drip holes at the bottom of the door. I understand that water collects in the door. A few people on here have had rust out problems on the inner part of the door by the rubber seal at the bottom.
