Sherry, I'm with Erie Insurance, and I don't know the exact amount of the discount, but I think it was about $200-300/year. I'm sure they have a name for it, but I don't know that either. I just told them that I was going to store my car for the winter, and it wouldn't be driven, so I only wanted it covered for comprehensive not collision for those months. That way it's covered if my garage collapses on it, or someone steals it. But I can't drive it. My buddy gave me the idea, as I always thought you had to turn in your license plates in PA if you dropped your insurance. But that doesn't apply to vehicles in storage.
Anyway, give your insurance agent a call and ask them what your options are for storage. I'm sure they'll have a similar plan. If not, call Erie Insurance.

Erie is not the cheapest, but they are known for paying claims quickly and not jerking you around over details and such. I've had very good experience with them.
