I also want to do a seat swap. I have an '06 base roadster (black cloth seats). I see the leather seats from '04/'05 on ebay and I was interested in putting them in. Are you saying that the mechanical mounts are not identical? My thought was that I'd just bring a 12V feed into the seats to get the power motors to work, and possibly ignore the heater. But I'd have thought that the mechanical and seat belts would not be different. Am I wrong?
