This series of posts and others dealing with wind noise has been incredibly helpful.

I test drove my x-fire Thursday and got to keep it overnight. Noticed significant noise coming from driver-side window when I drove it Thursday night at speeds of 100 km/h. Slightly disappointed since I'd heard the car is supposed to be relatively quiet.

Bought the car anyways at 1:30 on Fri (Jun 11) and took deliver at 4 because I wanted it before the weekend. Didn't get the wind noise problem fixed although was promised by the dealer that they would look into it next week and would send a mechanic with me on the short test drive.

Am now wondering if I should have insisted on getting it fixed before delivery although someone mentioned that dealers often won't do anything until the car is bought by someone.
