I drove with no intercooler one night about two weeks ago, it was cold though, mid 40's so I figured it would be alright. I attempted to race my friends modded Ls1 and pulled him all the way to 100 mph until my car engaged some kind of speed limiter at 100. I brlieve it was due to the lack of an intercooler. Normal driving you should be fine, but stay out of boost until you get it fixed to be safe. I think the car will protect itself via ECU or clutch mechanism, but just take it easy until it's fixed.
