Depends on where the nastiness is. If it's on the outside of the pipes, then the recommendations above will work wonders. If, on the other hand, you're also talking about the inside of the tips, some of us SRT-6 owners (unlike the Ltds or the base) have found them to be painted (or somehow finished) in black, so that would probably be considerably more difficult to remove.
