Funny thing about Shelby stripes. I've driven in one real 289 AC Cobra and seen maybe another half a dozen other genuine ones. Not a single stripe. Every repro I've seen has the stripes. Same for every one of the so-called new N/A Shelby Mustangs (I guess it's something they can show to justify a $10k vig over a regular GT).

It's pretty inexpensive for a body shop to remove the stripes. It's only a decal.

SRT-6 has too many design elements in a short package to throw body stripes into the mix. If I were going to have a so-called Shelby stripe, which I wouldn't, a single 7" stripe down the center-line with a very thin pin-striping on each side to highlight it would do the least aesthetic injustice to the car.
