I lowered my '04 and noticed it bottomed out easier but at the time i didn't know it was because of the shock bumpers ! You must trim them if you lower the car! as for tire wear I still got about 20k miles+ before changing.
My new srt6 I'm waiting for my koni shocks and will install my '04 springs on it but will cut about 3/4 of a coil off to lower it about 1 inch! I have already done this on the rear and I only noticed ride difference slightly smoother I can't wait for the konis!
